Subject: Scam Alert: Hope Finance

Cognitos hereby issues an official statement regarding the alleged fraudulent activity (scam) with Hope Finance project.

As an audit company responsible for auditing Hope Finance during a certain period, we are deeply concerned and condemn the fraudulent actions that have harmed investors and the wider public.

As an audit company, we always adhere to applicable audit standards and ensure the integrity and transparency of our clients' reports. However, we recognize that in this case, the fraudulent activity was intentionally carried out by Hope Finance and hidden from the audit company.

We took immediate action upon learning of the fraud. We reported this to the authorities and fully cooperated in the ongoing investigation. We are also conducting an evaluation and improvement of our audit procedures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Chronology

• On February 4, a person who was a member of the Hope Finance team contacted us for audit contract services.

• On February 7, we provided the first document of the audit results, which showed some vulnerabilities in the smart contract. The Hope Finance team requested time to fix the vulnerabilities.

• On February 8, the Hope Finance team sent a new contract, and the audit results stated that only 10% of the vulnerabilities were eliminated.

• On February 9, the Hope Finance team sent a new contract, and the audit results showed no changes in the vulnerabilities.

• On February 10, the Hope Finance team sent a new contract, and the audit results showed no changes in the vulnerabilities.

• On February 11, the document was released with the vulnerabilities that can be seen in our document report.

Our team found that the audited contract was not used in the running project.
